You may not realize it, but Calgary is becoming an emerging craft beer hub. In fact, Calgary Brewery Tours recently launched two tours that are perfect for the beer lover and spirit enthusiast.
One of the tours focuses on the beers and people behind them, while the other combines the craft liquor component. Whether you are a beer connoisseur, or a newbie looking to learn more, these tours will be perfect for you!
The tour does a nice job mixing in well-known breweries with lesser known gems, all with standards to serve patrons with the highest quality possible. Five breweries and counting have been added to the tour. Wild Rose, Village and Toolshed are just some of the popular stops you’ll visit. Dandy, Alberta’s first nano-brewery, is a hidden gem that is sure to delight patrons. Eau Claire Distillery in Turner Valley mixes in the craft liquor component.
If you are interested in discovering new beers with friends or family, this tour is perfect for you. During the day-long tour, you’ll be immersed in unique experiences that share the commonality of quality and passion.
Transportation is provided by a guided driver from downtown Calgary. The tours run every Friday and Saturday from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. Tourists will be given lunch at CRAFT Beer Market, along with a souvenir bag stocked with goodies.
