Zoo lights- The Calgary Zoo

Christmas at the Track- Canada Olympic Park Calgary

Join friends and family for a day of Santa photos, sleigh rides, face painting and a petting zoo. There will also be cookie decorating, skating, and bouncy castles. When: December 19, 2015 Price: $15 or $10 with a winter jacket donation

Alberta Ballet’s: The Nutcracker- Jubilee Auditorium

Come and see the beautiful story of the nutcracker unfold with Alberta Ballet’s gorgeous dancers that make for a wonderful performance that gets you in the Christmas spirit. When: December 17-24, 2015 Price: $30-$150

A Christmas Carol- Theatre Calgary, Max Bell Theatre

Come and see a classic play that’s been around forever. Whether it’s a family tradition or not, it’s a must see! Enjoy Mr. Scrooge and the wonderful performance. Bah Humbug! When: November 26-December 24, 2015 Price: $57-$150

A Christmoose Carol- Loose Moose Theatre

This improve theatre plays a unique twist on this classic play. The style of presentation will be kept a secret making the big reveal super suspenseful. It will be a humorous and heartwarming nigh out. Don’t miss it. When: December 3,4,5,10,11,12,17,18,19 2015 (8pm) Price: $17-$22

Dashing Through the Glow- Spruce Meadows

Dress warm and bring your headlamps for this 2-5km night run. The run will be lit by the amazing light and Christmas wonderland displays. There will be an indoor market and warm hot cocoa at the finish line! When: December 4, 2015 (7-9PM) Price: $55

Lions Festival of Lights- Confederation Park

Walk through this magical display of gorgeous lights. It’s perfect for family time, dates, or friends. See the largest display of drive by lights and all the holiday inspired designs right in the middle of the city. When: November 28-January 8, 2016 (6-11 PM) Price: FREE

Epiphany- Lunchbox Theatre Calgary

Come and see this hilarious play that takes a sarcastic view on the holiday season. Dave Kelly takes a contemporary spin on the season and finding the answers for your life. When: November 30-December 23, 2015 Price: $20-$25

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed our room at Regency during our conference, the room was very clean, parking was great and the front desk was excellent. We even got a chance to use the exercise room! -Janet B.
