The Prana Yoga Festival takes place from March 17 to 19, 2017, in partnership with the Empowermind Team. Visitors can take part in youth and family classes during this festival with options ranging from beginner to expert. Classes will focus on a variety of topics from yoga, meditation, and nutrition to movement and lifestyle.
The Festival of Animated Objects takes place from March 16 to 19, 2017. This unique festival features a range of activities, from puppet shows and film screenings to gallery exhibitions and workshops.
The Calgary Maple Festival takes place on March 4 and 5, 2017, at Heritage Park and offers a range of cultural and outdoor activities. This festival has taken place every year since 2002 and celebrates French-Canadian, Metis, and First Nations cultures.
Taking Flight is a yearly festival hosted by the University of Calgary. Starting on March 28 and running until April 8, 2017, this festival celebrates students' work including writing, dance, music, and theater productions.
