Fiesta Filipino returns for its second year at the Olympic Centre in downtown Calgary! Experience great food and Filipino culture, while celebrating the unique and diverse heritage, history, and culture of the Philippines. Fiesta Filipino 2016 is a family oriented event that showcases the finest of Philippine arts, cuisine and entertainment. More than 10,000 people are expected to attend the free event on September 2nd & 3rd.

The Calgary Pride Parade is one of the most colourful celebrations of the year! This family friendly parade is expected to be attended by upwards of 60,000 spectators. The parade celebrates the tremendous diversity of Calgary’s community.
Award winning writer, musician and filmmaker Rae Spoon will lead this year’s parade. The event is FREE and event goers can enjoy live music, activities for youth in the family zone, or a cold beer in the Village Brewery Beer garden. The marketplace will feature local businesses around Calgary’s community. Event takes place September 4th at Millennium Park.
From Art to Astronauts, Beakerhead returns in 2016 with a smashup of Arts, Science and Engineering.
Beakerhead allows eventgoers to experiment in arts and sciences with hands on public spectacles.
This event is part space love affair, part rock n' roll! Jay Ingram and his band, the Cosmonauts, take event goers on a visual and musical journey through an era when the idea of space exploration was only a dream. The Calgary International Film Festival returns this September! The CIFF is a 12-day showcase of up to 200 multi-genre feature and short films from Canada and over 40 other countries. The festival hosts gala events, screenings, special presentations, and a “Behind the Screen” series that emphasizes unique and exciting ways for filmmakers and fans to interact.
